Audi AMI to AUX Adapter

When purchasing the Bavarian CarPlay Retrofit Kit, an AMI to Aux adapter may be required to activate the auxiliary audio function.

How to Use:

Simply plug the adapter into the AMI port. The Aux end can remain unplugged and left hanging if not in use.

Important Notes:

• This cable only transmits audio signals; it does not display any content on the Multi-Media Interface (MMI) screen.
• Before purchasing, please ensure that your vehicle is equipped with the original AMI/MDI unit and that the original audio host (typically located in the co-pilot’s glove box or center armrest box) is either pre-installed or already installed in your vehicle.
